SMID owns various water right certificates to irrigate its service area with over 40,000 acre-feet of water that is comprised of approximately 85% senior and 15% junior water rights. Each acre of land with the District is entitled to 6 gallons per minute..

To request water on/off or changes to your water delivery, please call the District Office at 509-469-0449 or the District Watermaster at 509-833-2915. Please allow 48-hour advance notice.
Service Area
The Selah-Moxee Irrigation District service area begins in East Selah following the canal system into Terrace Heights, the City of Moxee and East Valley. SMID has 7,700 irrigable acres and also operates the Fowler Ditch that contains 2,000 irrigable acres.
